Build Your Own Free Landing Pages
Posted on August 4th, 2008 by SOB under Affiliate MarketingI know you guys enjoy the free landing pages that we give out every Friday, but I am sure there are few niches that you are promoting, and would like landing pages for. I have a solution for you. Now remember, this is may not be a be all and end all solution to make landing pages, but it should be good enough for you get by while testing a niche. So lets get started.
Lets assume you want to try promoting a green tea niche, and don’t want to spend $XXX trying to get a landing page made. This is what I would do. Sign into your favorite affiliate network, mine is Hydra Media, and look for the niche -
I searched for “green tea” and picked Wu Yi tea offer #7436. Scroll down on the offer look for the email creatives.
Yeah I know, you are not doing email promotions, but just follow me. Pick the creative that you like best. I picked this one -
Copy paste the image in your favorite image editor or use it the way it is, and add it to your html page and there you have the cheapest and fastest way to make a landing page. Here is my final result -
Also remember, that the merchants have done their research on landing pages and pretty much know their target audience, and also know what works and does not. So, why not make use of their knowledge and creative minds?

When I create a landing page I don’t like to have it like most where the scrollbar is so small it is hard to actually click it with your mouse!!!

Thanks for the useful information. I run a simple blog and do only ‘ok’ on it. However I talked to my affiliate manager and she recommended me creating my own landing page.

Do you normally get permission by the owner of the image to use it or do you just assume they will be okay with it since you are promoting their product anyway?

These are creatives given by the merchants to promote their product - so I guess its already assumed that they are ok for us to use it.
