I have been watching the Apprentice since it began a few years back, and have rarely missed an episode. I began watching it at first, because I am a sucker for anything related to business and making money. I now Tivo Celebrity Apprentice, and have no idea why I watch it. I am losing patience with it because those damn celebrities are so childish! If you watched it last night when Lennox Lewis was the Project Manager, you will know what I am talking about. He actually had his team members raise their hand if they wanted to ask questions. I remember Lennox as a lean mean fighting machine. He really looks really like a wuss on the show. And what is up with all these celebrities wanting to resign? It was Vincent Pastore (Big Pussy to us Sopranos fans) last week, and last night it was Stephen Baldwin.

This point often comes up in each of the episodes, about making use of your celebrity status, however, none of the players have a clue what that means. They have no idea how to network, or make use of their black books. Most celebrities are suckers for limelight, and softies for charities, and what really boggles my mind is, why these so called celebrities are so afraid to call on many of their celebrity friends to make the donations needed to win the tasks? If they want to be a Celebrity Apprentice, then they should know that Business 101 is Networking.Ok, so they do a decent job of coming up with concepts and executing it the tasks. Plus the money they win, goes to their favorite charities. But, what is up with showing more boardroom antics? I want to see more of the execution of the concept, and less of the boardroom bitching and moaning.

No, but seriously, since they are so gung-ho on doing something for the charities, why are they really promoting the corporations for the tasks? Wouldn’t it be great if they could have a project where they could find the most donors for a charitable organization, like 1 Laptop Per Child or selling lemonade for Alex’s Lemonade Stand.
